Another Helpful Greek Resource

I am a biblical Greek novice and therefore need as much help as I can get. The Online Greek Bible is a nice resource that makes it easy to look up any New Testament passage. It would be particularly helpful if you were in a spot with internet access but didn't have your Greek N.T. with you.

Excellent New Ligonier Website

Ligonier Ministries has posted a new website. After looking it over, I find it to be much more helpful than the previous one.

In particular, I like the "Learn" link that offers all sorts of options for reading and listening. The best part of this section (and the entire site) has to be the "Teacher Index." After clicking there, you can select from the writings of over 60 excellent teachers. Several of my personal favorites are included such as Alistair Begg, Jerry Bridges, D. A. Carson, Sinclair Ferguson, Richard Phillips, John Piper, R. C. Sproul, Joni Eareckson Tada, Bruce Ware, David Wells, and Ravi Zacharias.

A Great Resource from DG

In looking around the Desiring God website, I came across a very helpful little resource. It is named simply Ask Pastor John. This is a place where John Piper receives and answers questions from all across the spectrum of the bible, theology, the church, ethics, etc.

Today's question is, "Is it possible to be angry and not sin?" A few days ago, someone asked, "What is God's glory?" Piper does his best to answer these questions in a short enough manner that they can be read or listened to in just a few minutes.

Does John Piper know everything? No. Is he well-versed in the scriptures? Yes. Does he have years of pastoral experience and wisdom? Yes. Therefore, I think it is worth it to listen to him answer some interesting and difficult questions.
