Excellent Post on Bible Translations

My friend Alan at The Assembling of the Church has written an excellent and helpful post on bible translations. Specifically, Alan deals with the thorny issue of transliterations and how they impact what we believe the bible says. Frankly, I see transliterations as a sort of cop-out by the translation teams. If your going to translate the bible, then translate the entire thing.
