Friday Photos from the Falls

Yesterday our family visited Niagara Falls. Having grown up in western New York, I've been to the falls several times before. Regardless, I was still amazed by the beauty and power of God's creation. I was also pleasantly surprised by the permanent sign that greeted us as we walked across the Rainbow Bridge to Canada (see the second photo below). God is truly great and greatly to be praised!

Eric,

What great photos! What a nice family! Sure brings back memories- my family is also from western New York as well. I think it has been about ten years since we were last at the falls- my daughter still talks about it.

Did you all take the "Maid of the Mist" boat ride? What an awesome experience...

Jeff,

We did go on the Maid of the Mist. It was amazing. I hadn't done that since I was in sixth grade.

Where in western New York is your family from?

Eric,

My father is from Rochester, my mother is from Swain (a small ski town). The rest of my family is scattered around Livingston County in the Genesee Valley west of the finger lakes region.

Enjoy that vacation!
