This sign describes my last church and could very well be its name. Non-members got with a local locksmith, convinced him they had lost the keys and the pastor had left the church (although our little flock was still attending twice a week and I knew the locksmith), had him re-key the locks and effectively stole the church! These professing believers hated me so much that when I left, they stole what was once their property, to show me they would have the last say! Violent church? Me thinks so!
I'll take a stab at this. In the Pentecostal/charismatic culture this verse is used to motivate and inspire in regards to fighting the good fight in spiritual warfare. This and other verses that reference "going to battle" imagery are frequently referenced.

It looks to me like a Christian version of Overthrow. Only they forgot to write what they're violent about...
"For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God Church" was already taken...
